About a week ago I walked into a local music shop in Cape Town, and saw this black beauty hanging on the wall, it was an Ibanez Art120, and far over my budget. As I was in the market for an electric guitar, I sampled a cheaper guitar that I almost bought that morning, but I'm not an impulsive buyer, I walked away.

The following day I went on the internet to continue my search for alternative guitars in the same pricerange. I landed on soundtrader.co.za and to my surprise, found the Ibanez Art120 for the same price as the inferior guitar I almost bought locally (About R2300 cheaper than the shop was selling it for). I immediately placed my order, the first impulsive purchase I ever made in my entire life. At first I was bit sceptical, how could this be? I left an email for Sound Trader to contact me, later that day I had a call and a guy called Jonathan was to my service. As this is my first internet purchase, I had a lot of questions which were answered very honestly and immediatly after the discussion, I've transferd the money into their bank account.

The guitar was shipped to me in a very secured packaging and when I opened it, I could just sense this guitar was never been played on, or being touched by youngsters just to brag to friends how well they could play. I am very impressed, I still don't know how she sounds and can't wait for 5pm to arrive. The torture is unbearable.

I highly recommend Sound Trader's website and excellent service.

That Ibanez is just super great. I enjoy every moment playing with it. Okay so you don't really suggest a pedal on the acoustic? Well that will actually just spoil the sound coming from that guitar. Well then i also please need prices for some good fine acoustic strings and some for my electric guitar too please?

Not a problem at all!

It's actually I who should be apologising to you!

We found out yesterday that the person who wants to do the performance in CT, refuses to play on an instrument costing less than £1000 (which roughly translates into a huge amount of money!)

Seeing as this is going to be a one night only performance, there is absolutely no way that we can justify buying a R14000+ guitar! (Can you imagine what that would look like on a budget report...)

On a more personal note, I have to say I am severely impressed with your website, and the range of products you have on offer, so I shall most definitely be using you guys in the future!

(I now just have to decide on which BOSS pedal I should get to complement the overdrive and distortion ones I already have!)
